hello i’m 21 years old and i have been reading yaoi since i was a 7th grader lol. Is anyone else starting to feel like they’re growing out of this phase? for me im getting deathly bored of it because ive been here for so long, and i am tired of chasing the high i once had when i first discovered this website. the storylines are boring and childish now i don’t know if its because im a grown woman or what lol
I think, In general, this is a result of consuming too much. When you consume too much of a genre, not just for BL, you inevitably start to get bored because you want to read something more original/different/unique. Finding original things is not easy either.
