Why are some old/og BL readers so weird?
I swear I don't know what it Is but I feel like every time I check someone's profile on here and they have something about how they've been reading BL for like 10+ years or something in their bio it always ends up going to dog shit after that like I swear I don't think I ever seen someone say they're been reading bl for years in there bio without them defending rape toxic relationships and just the most outrageous shit out there and 9 out of 10 times they always have "it's just fiction" in there bio that usually follows with an insult if you don't agree with them btw I'm not saying every old/og bl reader is like this or there the only ones who think like this
I think it's because the BL community has changed a lot in the past decade, much more so in the past 20 years. I started reading in middle school and I am an adult of legal drinking age in the US now so I guess it's been enough time that I can call myself a longtime BL reader.
