Coworker crush

This is my go-to vent web, so what does it mean when a guy,who was your ex-situationship and coworker, invites you out to eat after closing and you have a great time, but you found out that same night while eating tgt that he has a gf through his lockscreen, so I just congratulated him but still find out weird that we went out only us alone while him having a gf. Fast forward 4 days later he not longer has his gf in his lock-screen, when I ask him about his gf he said he didn’t have one?? And like 2 days later he called to see how I was doing after months of no contact?? “Not really “no contact” cuz we work tgt but I mean in like texting/calling way”. I still like him a lil, is it weird to get your hopes up? Tbh I find the whole gf weird, but one of these nights he introduced me to his mom??
