So how do you stop your parents from talking about marriage or looking for a guy to marry you off? Im brown so calling police, leaving home etc won't work. I am so fcking scared of it that i am willing to end myself if it goes further.
I'm also gonna face the same problems in a couple of years. My tactic is to become a very successful version of me so that my parents take my opinion seriously and not gloss over it as someone who hasn't even gotten their life figured out. And also create strong points as to why you want to avoid marriage (without loopholes). Don't be afraid to arg...... 2 reply
