Hello! i'm a 12 years old fujoshi that lives in germany I began reading yaoi a year ago and i really love it! But i can't find any people that like yaoi and are in my age i'm always scared that people will say i'm too young or i probably don't understand it
I agree with the majority of the comments saying that shounen-ai is appropriate, but more sexual would be considered inappropriate. I started reading it when I was young and had a really misconstrued view on gay people, and let these fictional settings create unrealistic fantasies; fujioshis tend to fetishize the sexuality, which is not good.
