Hey so ya I just want my autism coworker to stop rambling and let me work. Goal is to not get sent to HR.
I already pulled the "wow, that's crazy. Damn" multiple times. It ain't working. But any advice or personal experience thoughts, would be helpful. Thanks.
I mean, isn't the whole thing with autism that they often simply don't get conversational clues like that? They don't look for the hidden meaning behind your words but simply take them at face value. Tell them to just stop rambling so they can go cry a bit and then never interact with you ever reply
OMG. I have second hand embarrassment. I also ramble like that. I always tell people to stop me but they never do if you’re worried about being sent to HR you must not be closed. Just redirect them or tell them you gotta catch up on some work. reply
