What do yall think about the 2023 adaption to Ariel? I know it’s very late after the movie was released but I just thought of it.
I honestly hate it, not because they made her black. Idc if they made her blue or whatnot but I just hate that they changed it. I know it’s all about money in the end. I mean I know a lot of people don’t mind it but if it didn’t matter, why change the race instead of just making new characters.

The answer is money. They don't want much risk. Why do you think they keep making remakes, sequels, book adaptations, reboots and spinoffs and only rarely try to make something new? It's riskier and doesn't guarantee the same financial reward. Do you think people would rather watch frozen 3 or an entirely new film? Do you think people would rather ...... reply
