What do yall think about the 2023 adaption to Ariel? I know it’s very late after the movie was released but I just thought of it.
I honestly hate it, not because they made her black. Idc if they made her blue or whatnot but I just hate that they changed it. I know it’s all about money in the end. I mean I know a lot of people don’t mind it but if it didn’t matter, why change the race instead of just making new characters.

I refused to watch DEATH NOTE (Netflix, 2017) with the very principle that the races of BOTH main characters are black-and whitewashed, even though I love the anime and watched older LIVEACTION versions.
