Ambessa, she honestly has to be one of the best female characters written if all time. She’s made to be one of the villains in the arcane story, but her character is so amazingly well done, and she’s so damn cool and strong, that you really can’t hate her at all. She’s also the type of character who no matter what happens, can’t hate her...... 3 reply

She's not from a comic and she's badass BUT she also has vulnerable moments which feel very believable and I would kill myself for her in an instant if she asked.

My beautiful lovely ladies
Honestly every female character in Revolutionary Girl Utena is soo well written and I love them all. The show lets them all be complex people that aren't 100% good or bad and have their own reasons for what they do. I particularly love Nanami because she subverts the typical like "bitchy, jealous female antagonist" trope...... 1 reply
