ACADEMIC STRESS
How do you all deal with academic stress? I often find myself getting really stressed out when I think about my grades, and it ends up affecting my ability to rest and relax. :( I find it hard to take time for myself because I’m constantly worrying about whether my grades will be good enough. The pressure to perform well, especially when I’m striving for higher grades, just keeps building up. It makes me anxious and exhausted, and I often feel like I can’t truly enjoy my free time. Even on weekends, which are supposed to be for rest, I still feel this underlying tension because I know there’s always more to do, more to improve, and the constant worry about not measuring up…
I've been an honor student for the past few years of my life and let me tell you what I learned--only thinking about your grades put more weight on your shoulders. I thought that by drowning myself in schoolwork was I finally going to be able to something I could be, but I am still not who I wanted to be. You shouldn't be living just for school!
