Uh anyone here who actually buy manga?
I realized I spent like over 400 on manga and merch alone, but to be fair, it’s from my part time job and I would have spent that much if I ate out every weekday in one month ahaha. I spent another 400 on cosplay…. I will just literally not buy anything for the next 4 years to compensate my trashiness. I kind of hate myself but I like to think everything is okay.
Actually yes. I collect them since I'm 12yo so it's been 18 years now. I'm on mangago for aaaaall the mangas I can't buy because they're not released or not yet at least and I also discover some here that I buy after liking them. I stopped buying them for around 6 years because of money problems and other personnal matters but I started again three...... 2 reply
I bought a whole manga series (it was a short series, only 4 books). I was making like 600 a paycheck back when I had a job (close to 700 if I worked extra hours), but I really only ever used my money to help my mom out with phone bills and groceries (we have a family of 5, so we usually spend like close to 400 on groceries alone).

I have tons of manga & manwha. Hell, I have books in languages I can’t read. I’ve bought manga in Italian, Spanish, and manwha in German, Korean and Chinese (besides English).
I also have all kinds of merch from all kinds of series. I collect figures, plushies, prints, pins, buttons, keychains, acrylics, and other miscellaneous stuff.

I literally own so many manga that I have stacks of them on the floor since I ran our of shelf space (including putting manga sideways on top of others) I would probably need at least 2 or 3 full time jobs to afford buying the sheer amount I read on here though T-T reply

Most of my manga collection is actually from my cousin, he was a huge weeb, and on top of popular ones like death note or monster, he also had some hentai trash that I've decided to just sell this year, they're in good condition and I have no interest in collecting porn.

I’ve bought a few things with birthday money, but for the most part I’m too broke, all my money goes to college and food. But once I’m a rich doctor I want to buy a physical copy of every single series I’ve read. Even ones that don’t have an official English release, I will buy the Japanese language version. It’s my dream. reply
