Which queer story have u guys actually seen written well?
I mean to you it feels overall real and relatable as someone queer. I read alot of BLs and barely they make me relate to them cus they're written by a woman. Ballboy tactics for me so far feels relatable cus like he's obviously in a closet but he's too afraid to act on it.
In my opinion, one of the best written queer stories is Mine-kun is Asexual.
The author wrote another story about asexuality, but I found the main character it a little less realistic.

They're both about asexuality (and aromanticism) so naturally I adore them
I love this one it's my favourite I think about it all the time. It's about an asexual woman and gay man who end up getting married. They never develop romantic feelings for each other, but they do stay together cuz they find they can be happy together even if they don't h...... 2 reply
Thing is with BL is that the genre isn't inherently about relatability in my experience, so you won't see a lot of stories that have the queer experience in mind.
That being said, there are some that do touch on what you're referring to more or less. Don't have specifics recs on me atm though. 1 reply
Well, I don't relate to any love story, queer or not, since I'm aroace but there are plenty of BLs out there which make me feel like other queer people can relate to those stories. reply
