I think the question truly depends on the artist, what they have done, the medium of their work and how they interpret their own mindset or actions onto the art.
Some things sure can be ignored for some people while others cannot its really only about morals. But if the artist has affected a group of people as a whole I find it difficult to ignore...... reply
