how did you guys meet your best friend?
ok so i’m beginning to realize that the peace of having no friends is starting to turn into pure loneliness so could you guys tell me how you met your good friends? i really wanna have some good friends that i can share my interests with and laugh with but i have no idea how to really put myself out there
Firstly, I understand it can be hard not having many friends. And to be honest I don’t say this to scare you but even if you do put yourself out there there’s no guarantee you’ll make good friends. Elementery school. I asked about his kirby shirt and told him I also liked kirby. We weren't close friends then but that's when we first met. We started talking a lot together in middle school. Then he became my best friend in high school when we shared the bus together.
I guess I can say that proximity is a good way to start? Just start talking ...... reply
I noticed that learning spaces are one of the best and easiest places to make friends. School being the prime example. Have you ever thought of learning a new language, a new sport or how to do pottery? Sign up for a course and meet people, there's bound to be SOMEONE out there for you 1 reply
op you’ll find your people sooner or later! mine is a high school friend i got mixed in with after missing assembly and the punishment was to stand under the heat of the sun for ten minutes. ours is a friendship that stemmed from unintended proximity i guess? Hey I’m 29 and I’ve met my best 2 friends at middle school. We always had the same interests like first we liked Harry Potter and Twilight and movies from those years, we went to watch them together. After that we fangirled for some tv dramas like doctor who and sherlock and we started watching korean dramas and animes we listened to same music...... 1 reply
This is it in a nutshell. This is how I got my closest friends. Some of them even fellow introverts. To be clear, I'm the one they picked up. I would never approach people on my own volition.
