Pansexual is sexual orientation, male and female are genders/sexual identities. They are not apple to apple. But I get it with sexes or genders, but there's no need to validate your sexual orientation, if you believe you're pan instead of bi yeah you do you, some people see ir differently some people see it as the same thing, doesnt matter.
