I don't get K-pop demon hunters hype
I think I'll get a lot of hate for this but... Is it just me who thinks it's just overrated. My entire youtube feed was filled with KDH shit. Like the yt shorts won't leave me alone until i watched it. So I caved in to the train and watched it and was utterly disappointed. Like only redeeming quality about that movie was their face cards and the songs were catchy. The plot was absolutely mid (dogshit). All the new Disney movies that people make such a big deal about being shit, are 10x better than this movie plotwise.
It's a cartoon made for kids, and I find that people go into it expecting too much. Not looking at anything else, I'll admit I like the music from it. I see a lot of people complaining that it's "mid" or trash; to be fair, it was simple, short, and delivered the message of "accepting yourself" (which is Rumi).
