I don't get K-pop demon hunters hype
I think I'll get a lot of hate for this but... Is it just me who thinks it's just overrated. My entire youtube feed was filled with KDH shit. Like the yt shorts won't leave me alone until i watched it. So I caved in to the train and watched it and was utterly disappointed. Like only redeeming quality about that movie was their face cards and the songs were catchy. The plot was absolutely mid (dogshit). All the new Disney movies that people make such a big deal about being shit, are 10x better than this movie plotwise.
kpop has a huge ass fanbase and to bring it to a big western production studio would of course be a massive success
it hits all the mark for a cartoon homerun:
-love interest
-decent looking characters
-catchy songs
-cute monster characters
-a well known base material which is kpop culture
