I don't get K-pop demon hunters hype
I think I'll get a lot of hate for this but... Is it just me who thinks it's just overrated. My entire youtube feed was filled with KDH shit. Like the yt shorts won't leave me alone until i watched it. So I caved in to the train and watched it and was utterly disappointed. Like only redeeming quality about that movie was their face cards and the songs were catchy. The plot was absolutely mid (dogshit). All the new Disney movies that people make such a big deal about being shit, are 10x better than this movie plotwise.
I liked it. Was it some masterpiece? Hell no. It had a lot of flaws. But it’s overhyped because 1) kpop (duh) and 2) most animated movies are shit these days. I heavily disagree with u about ur last point. Nearly every Disney or Pixar movie within the last few years screams of cash grab nostalgia bait or its heavily focus group tested.
