Gatekeeping queerness
im pissed af rn ngl . I made a post saying i was confused on my sexually bc for the majority of my life ive considered myself lesbian. then i talked about how i recently believed i may be bi instead, started dating a guy, i like yaoi, but found that i wasn't sure if i'd had romantic feelings at all for the guy i dated. Hence, i might still be lesbian but wasn't sure. and then people went out of their damn way to respond calling me Straight, saying i never had feelings for girls in the first place (cough cough @Angelica still pissed af about that) and completely invalidating my sexuality. Just bc i did not mention every woman ive dated/had feelings for does not mean i dont like girls in general. I thought that was pretty fucking obvious by the fact that i refered to myself as either lesbian or bi, and even if i didnt its kind of bold to just assume. Some of you guys need to hop off tiktok, mgg or whatever platform tats making you this braindead and disrespectful and get a life.
Just because you’ve dated a guy in the past doesn’t automatically mean you can’t never be a lesbian, just because you’ve dated women in the past doesn’t mean you can’t be straight look at the end of the day it’s your feelings and feelings can be complicated and you know yourself better then a bunch of manga addicts on the internet , s...... reply
