This way you know what's going to be said against and what can be said in your defense. Pretty beginner friendly advice, lmk if you need more help, and good ......   2 reply

Hiii Law Student hereee, I think you should first address the reason why homework exists and how now in modern times, the effects of homework towards students. Cite examples like articles and personal accounts. That makes your argument strong. Next is you should pace your argument in a more cohesive manner, I recommend something like the PREP tech......   reply

anticipate counterarguments by doing research on what the opposing side claims. it's better to come up with possible responses, it's less hassle for both parties as well. frame ur stance as something reasonable and balanced. (ex: homework, if made well and kept fair, is necessary.) make "bigger picture" points, and say that abolishing homeworks is ......   reply

This access stress can lead to less attention span during the school day and directly a......   reply

The biggest argument for me, going into teaching, even though the invention of standarized tests were used at the elementary level for shallow assessment, homework is invaluable a practice. Yes, simply practice. Teaching isn't a parasocial relationship and a mentor's guidance is meant to lead you to understand and excercise the concepts. I would s......   reply

Essentially it also provides a way revise which otherwise wouldn't do if we generalise the mindset if those going to school. It also helps keep info in memory, and for some subjects, help learning new info that's meant to help in class and exams which the teacher may not have been able to cover in the class due to various reasons. It also helps kid......   reply

I believe is agreement of the abolishmsnt. There are various reasons 1. You don't get time to self study! Which is the MOST IMP part of your studies. 2. Mostly the homework given is bascially shit like copying things from one book to one copy. I mean in our country it happens. The student doesn't learn anything. There's no ACTIVE learning. 3. It m......   reply
