Nothing’s new (in BLs)
Is it just me or has the BL genre become kind of..stale?? Nothing really speaks to me anymore, maybe it’s just the lack of stories that I actually like, but I really feel like it’s the entirety of BL as a whole. Someone please back me up on this.
And the wild part? Even when something tries to be different, it still somehow circles back to the usual beats. It’s not that BL as a whole is bad; it’s just stuck in this safe zone where nobody wants to take risks. So yeah, the stagnation is real. Trust me, you’re not feeling this alone. The genre isn’t stale because it can’t grow it’...... reply
