Should I go back to Genshin ?
The devil on my shoulder won today and as I checked genshin yt channel i saw they are adding my baby boy Durin ?? AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER ???
I have a lot of reasons I stopped playing but the second worst one was the grinding, not even just for primogems but exploring and quest completion as well. I robbed myself of my favorite parts of the game just because I thought I had to get that 100% at any cost, no matter how boring It made the prosses.
(Also Natlan stuff. But that's my fault for having expectations... as a latinoamerican I should lower my bar and just enjoy anything)
The only reason I'm thinking of playing again is because over the year I think I have gotten better at managing this, I can finally let myself enjoy a game without grinding! (Sky cotl im Looking at you) Yay!
The qol is terrible, the grind is terrible, the story is a snoozefest and unnecessary long, paimon is still annoying as ever, no English va, region lock qol, no skip button, stiff in game animation , little to no game improvement in 5 years, heavy power creep, new mechanics that heavily caters new characters only, important lore locked behind limit...... reply
