Ok so I was going through a list of bl and non bl recommendations and I realized I was avoiding most of the Chinese one because of bad experience. Doesnt mean I hate all Chinese manhua/bl but goddamn sometimes I stand there like “why am I reading this” also you can often tell by the art style. Is that kinda racist?

I think you're thinking way too deeply about this. Unless you have a genuine prejudice against Chinese people in a general sense which then, in return, makes you avoid and dislike their comics SPECIFICALLY I'd reevaluate but then again idk…I don't see why you should force yourself to read anything you don't wanna read.
