Why do you like to read Yaoi? Personally I read it because in a sense it helps me escape reality and teaches life lessons in a sense. Not only yaoi other genre manga too and anime but lets just focus on yaoi for now yes (▰˘◡˘▰)
Yaoi just HITS DIFFERENT I like that it shows that not all guys are gonna be strong all the time like they have a vulnerable side they have feelings ya know? Some yaoi (not all) show some hardships of being gay. Others show hardships of relationships and that nothing is perfect and not everything will go the way you want.
