Older manga readers are built different
Met a person who started reading mangas from 2010 and y'know we went down the back in my days talk and then I told that i started in 2017 and all the "peak" in question were just filled with rape and noncon and he looked straight in my eyes and said "you started after the filters. I didn't" and began saying that like people are lucky to have so many fluff mangas/hwa and yet they read the worst thing and complain back then everything was worse and we'd have to like search for some normal ones
I've been reading since 2007-08 at least, and I'd say the complaining about "bad" stuff is good, because that means there's demand for stuff beyond the tired, toxic tropes of yesteryear. yeah, you can filter out the stuff you don't want better than you used to, but it's still good to have positive demand for better options. not to mention, it's goo...... reply
