he was abusive. There are multiple times where he broke a glass while hitting me on the head. My mouth was also bleeding when I was only around 7. he's been swinging punches up until last year. My parents were divorced by the time I was six. My dad wasn't in the picture and when he was it was minimal. I actually see it as growing stronger, rather than being 'daddy's girl. ' Taught me independence and resourcefulness. reply

Literally not being emotionally there. He's physically here yeah but he doesn't even know my age, didn't know what grade I was in or what I get involved in at all. He doesn't know ANYTHING about me! Not even my favorite food, colors or things I hate... whilst my mom knows literally everything and anything about me ??? He just failed in that.

Indeed he has. He has a new family, house, children, a women and completely left my family behind. The last words he ever said to me was goodbye and thats it. He never once said happy birthday, Christmas, halloween, or any holiday for that matter. He was not abusive or anything, just distant, and by that I mean practically not there. No interest, other than taking report cards and gloating to friends, as if he had anything to do with it. Not doing any housework, or even fixing stuff that was broken. In the end, not even providing the minimum standard and letting the family slip into poverty ...... reply
