This "leave the house when you're 18" Culture, I'm honestly culture shocked by that can y'all give insights on why this happens? Like do you think it's right or not? Do you think it should continue? Why or why not?
America is a individualistic society. We value independence and prioritize ourselves. Whereas in other countries they may be collectivist. For example, in Japan, they value others more than themselves. I guess the leave when 18 culture is due to tradition and other factors but I don't really feel like writing all that. lol.
