Religious people trying to preach it to others
Today at work some girl came up to me and gave me a phamplet about the bible and her church and told me how it was super important to her and said multiple times that she really wants me to read it and I was so close to tears. This isn’t the first time a Christian has come up to me and given me stuff at work but every single time they do it just makes me feel super horrible and panicked and I just wanna cry and run away. I hate how normalized it is for people to go around trying to preach(force) their religion on others and I have no idea what to do when it happens to me. I just want them to leave me alone. Can we just get rid of religion, I hate it so much.
Let me tell you how sick of this I am too, I’ve been stopped not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES on separate occasions while I was out shopping all happening within the same month! I think it’s just that if you believe in something so strongly and that it has changed your life/brings eternal life/happiness, the correct thing would be to try to tell other people about it instead of keeping it to yourself if you really think it’s that good or right. It has never happened to me irl, but I see this all the time just by being on the Internet. I can't watch a SINGLE video on Youtube without finding some unrelated "Jesus loves you and died for our sins " or some random Bible passage in all the top comments and it's so annoying.
