HOW do I make friends that like yaoi as well
ive been liking bl for a long time but ive never had any friends that shares the same interest as me. its always so lonely whenever i want to share or talk about manhwas/mangas because i have no one. im too scared to even hint the fact that i like bl to any of my irl friends cuz they would just find it weird. its gotten to the point where i talk to myself whenever i read something and its a bit pathetic honestly. i might actually go schizophrenic atp because i would either just whisper to myself or talk to a non existent chat whenever i want to share. its a bit embarrassing to admit but reading yaoi is a big part of my life in a weird way like its probably the only thing that i genuinely enjoy doing and i feel so lonely cuz i have no one to share this with. ive always had to keep it a secret.
this reminded me of the time i saw someone reading webtoon and asked if they read bl too, we instantly became friends. 4 years now. tbh though, idk how to go about naturally making friends like that nowadays, and like someone else said, its luck, you either be loud and proud about it and attract the secret yaoi readers or just be silent about it. reply

it all comes down to luck, you find someone who openly reads yaoi or you find someone willing to read yaoi. dw though, i also talk to myself alot when i'm reading something bc i have no friends who like to read as well

easiest way is to make a twitter account and join the local community. easier if bl or manhwa in general is popular enough in your country. or go to comic conventions.
