does a bad artstyle deter you?
I was reminiscing on old manhwas that I read, particularly early Wind breaker (the webtoon) and Lookism, too. I had an epiphany like "damn, I really did not have standards back then" tbf the plot drew me in and i was somehow able to overlook the...peculiar artstyles. but now its kind of hard for me to ignore art in favour of the plot. im probably missing out on some banger stories.
NO. Ugly art or unproportional body drawings etc. don't deter me at all. I read some doozies and eventually the characters actually grow on me :), even if at the end I think, damn!!...lol....but.....WHAT I WILL never read is the 'overly crowded, sfx every single tiny inch in the panel is used up, with art crammed in and dialogue bubbles squished ...... reply
