does a bad artstyle deter you?
I was reminiscing on old manhwas that I read, particularly early Wind breaker (the webtoon) and Lookism, too. I had an epiphany like "damn, I really did not have standards back then" tbf the plot drew me in and i was somehow able to overlook the...peculiar artstyles. but now its kind of hard for me to ignore art in favour of the plot. im probably missing out on some banger stories.
It depends. I've read stories with art I don't care for because the plot is fantastic and I've read comics with art I loved and the story was just meh. Of course the ideal is a great story with beautiful art but for me it's the sum total of the parts. Of course if the art is just god awful no amount of plot is going to save it. reply
