I was reminiscing on old manhwas that I read, particularly early Wind breaker (the webtoon) and Lookism, too. I had an epiphany like "damn, I really did not have standards back then" tbf the plot drew me in and i was somehow able to overlook the...peculiar artstyles. but now its kind of hard for me to ignore art in favour of the plot. im probably missing out on some banger stories.
YES. Ive got a complex criterion that will judge whether I read or drop. I feel that a bad art style makes a good plot seem unreadable (but dw I do recognise shitty/rape plots with good art style n drop them immediately.
