I genuinely don't understand where and why this trope even started it's soo fucking weird
It's the same reason why I don't read stories where a girl pretends to be a guy, ML comes to terms he might be gay blah blah blah then turns out it's a girl. Idk I guess I just don't get the point of those types of stories? Like, what did we achieve here except condoning a huge identity lie
