I was slaving away writing and making jokes with her and her boyfriend about how I will do anything to avoid spending a buck. I mentioned in passing that I have used the same manga site for years. And they both asked "Oh what manga site do you use" Like gang I'm not usually a gatekeeping person. I show people how to pirate things on a daily, share piracy sites because fuck the big man yk. But I would rather skin myself alive, cover my self in lemon juice and then talk to half of my exes than mention mangago.me in public. Both looked at me like I shot bambis mother but on god I am not brave enough to explain mangago.me to anyone.
ts is so relatable i used to actually have a backup site prepared for when my manga friends would ask me a few years ago because they all read shoujo or shounen and rarely seinen and definitely no bl or yaoi. i lost contact with my manga friends so now i don't bother with a backup site and just hope nobody new asks where i read manga :P reply

Unfortunately can't relate cus the moment I befriend someone in person, even just a sliver mention of manhwa/manga I'll immediately open my mouth and mention this site. All my friends are gay tho maybe that's why im more comfortable, I never befriend people who I know will judge me for the stuff I like doing reply
