2 of our cats are strictly indoor-only. the other 4 are allowed outside during the morning when it’s not blazing hot, they don't stray away too far but they still need to be supervised. the other 2 can’t be let out because they’d sprint tf away the moment they get outside ive been telling my mom to get cat leashes for months but she keeps forgetting.
I have 12 cats right now, and they are a mix of both ! Our neighborhood is super cat-friendly and very quiet with barely any outside traffic. It’s so peaceful that we even see wild boars and their piglets hanging out on the road at midnight lol.
