2 of our cats are strictly indoor-only. the other 4 are allowed outside during the morning when it’s not blazing hot, they don't stray away too far but they still need to be supervised. the other 2 can’t be let out because they’d sprint tf away the moment they get outside ive been telling my mom to get cat leashes for months but she keeps forgetting.
All of my family’s cats have been strictly indoor, except one. We owned him from before I can remember, and he would spend time outside and come and go. One time he even disappeared for two months, and we were worried sick, but he just randomly reappeared on our porch.
