Yaoi has become boring?
Am i the only one depriving away from yaoi? (Or have deprived away) Like i cannot stand most of them anymore due to supernatural bodies or like the art is sooo fake and the design of the characters are so weird looking. Most of the plots are just pound town atp.
Like i probably only read 4 yaois that genuinely have good plot and the art looks decent and pretty natural not only that but characters have reasonable personalities and the rest is just straight hisekai webtoons.
Like when i see a good manhwa on tiktok and find out thaf it’s yaoi i get disappointed so badly, trust me im not homophobic it’s just when i see yaoi i know straight up that it’s going to be a gooner story with no special plot.
I used to read 10 different yaois a day regardless of the trashy plot ….but now?… ig we all grow up and have a change of views. I just wanna know if there is anyone out there who feels the same.
Maybe read an achillean novel? Could be a nice change if you still want queer stories, but you need a break from the art or the constant smut. I’d be happy to recommend some if anyone’s interested :)
But in general, it’s okay to take a break from a genre. I’m not only reading BL, and I think it’s for the best that people branch out anywa...... reply
