I've recently returned to watching BL Series. I stopped watching BL dramas for almost a decade now. My last BL watch back then was Theory of Love and it was heavy. Thank God that ended happy. Mermaids are so cool!! I did such a research like this on sirens a while back. Fun fact! Sirens do not look like mermaids (have fish tails) like most people think. This misconception rose during the medieval times when some Christian manuscripts misinterpreted the tale. Initially they were depicted as half-bird half-woman.
