Being Locked Up
Is it just me or are some things are just too normalized in BL? Like for example, being locked up. Like that common trope where the bottom is about to leave the top for whatever reason and they get locked up by the Top… like I feel like this is just completely unacceptable because it’s simply psychotic behaviour. Like just imagine you want to leave a relationship and then your partner says NO and then locks you up in their basement and then later you forgive them….
Yeh but its fictional and if a reader felt compelled to do it in real life or get scared by it bcs they were that easy to influence by a gay manhwa then that's on them ngl. You even said yourself "imagine". Tbh the only thing that I can understand readers feeling icky with, is violence over women characters bcs that is what happening irl a lot, sin...... 1 reply
