Gen afraid of the "just fiction" ppl after the recent incident
They were always those annoying bitches who think with their asses but this is genuinely too far, I'm convinced these people some way or the another react like it's nothing when subtle racism, toxicity shows in real life with real people. Like media has desensitized all of these people to rape, pedophilia and racism they don't even realize even if it's "subtle" or "small" it's still incredibly disgusting and shouldn't be dismissed or defended because it's not an "extreme case" according to them. Idk if this makes sense but this recent incident just convinced me more
This is also true because fiction does affect reality, just because something is fiction doesn't mean that it's going to have no impact on the real world. People are impacted by fiction all the time, like when reading fiction things can influence your emotions, political stance etc, which means it is impacting people in the real world.
