What’s your least favorite trope in BL?
My least favorite trope is when the ml only likes the mc because he was a reincarnation of a past lover, I dislike this trope because it feels like the ml only loves mc for who they were, not who they are. Also, it’s always the central plot and creates a lot of unnecessary conflict.
Since the obvious ones are taken, mine is when the ml gets obsessed with mc for no reason at all, or for superficial reasons such as their looks or scent (in omegaverse). I see this a lot in guideverse bl and it really annoys me cuz it feels so fake.
