Bl readers hypocrisy/?
This has been making me curious for a while but why do bl readers kinda pick and choose which manhwa is bad? Like everyone hate jinx, ppl basically insult that manhwa up and called jaekyung the worst seme (and rightfully so) but why don’t ppl do the same to other manhwa who has rape? For example low tide in twilight has rape, but many ppl keep calling it peak and forgive the seme bc he changed. Wasn’t that the same situation as jinx tho? Passion, codename anastasia, etc has rape but the reaction is not as bad. What makes them different? Also before yall accusing me as a jinx fan, no i dropped that in like chp 10-ish
I have a love and hate relationship with Jinx, but from what I see online, it has to do with both popularity and expectations. Because it has reached to so many different people, there's going to be a bigger backlash. For expectations, for how long Jaekyung was cruel to Dan, the redemption arc did not do enough of a good job in addressing everythin...... reply
