Are comment dislikes a big deal to you guys? Do you guys get upset just seeing at least one dislike on your comments?
I remember there was a time people would complain here about the other questions section, how it seemed like someone was just disliking every comment because people would see that most of the comments had at least one dislike, and my reaction to that was like what's the big deal? It's just one dislike as the comments would just get one dislike.
Also are dislikes really a big of a deal or should they mean anything?
Sometimes people use someone's dislike count to delegitimize that person, weaponizing their dislike count against them, poking fun at them, and I couldn't help but wonder why impose that dislikes mean shit? Especially to the point where someone is no longer valid, and making fun of them for it. For me I see this as cliquey, bully behavior. Why do people seem so proud in implementing that?
I don't really care about them on this site, but they got rid of the dislike button entirely on youtube shorts. Can you believe that?? Next thing you know the dislike will be gone completely. I guess there are people out there who really get their feelings hurt. They better be saving lives with that nonsense. 1 reply
I got disliked because I said I liked a guy (lee saha) who tried to kill a bunch of people or something, smh where did all my weirdos go. I'm sorry his face makes me want to put him into a blanket pudding to keep warm and toasty. why's he dressed like that, is he not cold? reply
Dislikes don't bother me. They're just numbers on a page at the end of the day. Most of the time it's not even malicious, just an accidental misclick. I feel the same about likes and followers on mgg. High or low, they're just numbers. This isn't a place where these things translate into real world influence or capital. reply
I've encountered that one dislike before. If it suddenly shows up on all comments and you haven't touched the reacts yet it's just a glitch. Anyways, a dislike shouldn't mean balls. If someone pokes fun at you for having dislikes poke fun at them back. You're too nonchalant to care abt anons' dogshit opinions. reply
I don't really think much of dislikes even if there's one I would just think they might have accidentally pressed it with their big thumb, like how I sometimes do. No biggie
I still remember commenting "Sorry! I meant to like (;^^)b" reply
