Exactly HOW TF do you guys deal with painful period cramps. Mine just started and I don't think I'll be seeing tomorrow's Sun rise ATP. Gimme unhinged tips idc. I want these GONE.
I let my cat sit on my stomach, and it helps me relax. I also take Midol, I drink hot tea, and use heating pads on both my stomach and back.
My sister takes 800mg of ibuprofen and it helps her a lot w her cramps. (sadly I can't take it cs I'm allergic)
My periods is so bad my cramps are so horrible that I get bloated, nausea, diarrhea, headache...... 1 reply
I mostly just deal with the pain or take Tylenol which doesn’t always help me. BUT lately I’ve been drinking ginger/turmeric tea and it gets rid of my cramps for a few hours, I drink this for a living when I’m on my period now. reply
Unfortunately, they won't go away. You might have a hormone imbalance that causes the pain. My gf has horrible cramps due to her PCOS, she used to take estrogen for it but the hormone therapy was also making her really sick, so she stopped.
IDK how much it will help but regular exercise and lots of water intake can help, heat pads as well. Gf drin...... reply
As someone with endo, who gets cramps in literally every part of my body during my period, to the point that I have thrown up and passed out, I have a few tips. First, hot water bottle, it is my saving grace, I love her. There's really no getting rid of them entirely without a doctor's aid.
To alleviate them though- Rice sock. Or heating pad / hot water bottle if you have one of those. I never did so, rice sock xD

I don’t I numb myself as much as I can then sleep to make the days go by quicker. Im currently using Equate Extra Strength Acetaminophen 500mg Gelcaps. That or anything higher than 500mg. Also fill the tub up and put two clean hand weights in it or arm and thigh weights then relax using the weights to stay submerged. reply
