People giving negative amount of advice
Idk if it's just me but sometimes I gen feel like on this website whenever someone talks about feeling sad that they can't find a date or they aren't experiencing romance there is always like an array of people giving the most nothing replies.
Always things like "focus on loving yourself first" and "relationships arent that special anyway" and "love will find you when you're not looking for it".
It's the most live laugh love type response ever, do you genuinely think the op hasn't heard all of that before?
And honestly that whole mentality isnt even like real. Like, I was in more relationships and getting hit on more when i was actively suicidal than after i stopped hating myself. Love in fact did not find me when i stopped searching. Genuinely if you have nothing real to say why say anything
Personally, I think learn to love yourself first is great advice. But I am a introvert who has always had a very strong bond with myself, so I am biased towards independence. When it comes to advice though, I try to avoid giving advice on things I haven't experienced myself. I think the best advice always comes from people who have been through the...... reply
