Should I cut off my bsf for 4 years???
Hello everybody today I meed your guys opinion on this situation. So my bsf for 4 years called me an idiot thinking she was gonna khs. For context she’s in a cult (JW) and she’s forbidden from a bunch of different things, besides that here parents pressure her a lot since they said that the oldest needs to stay strong and and deal with criticism while her parents blame her in any problem that comes to them. And it got bad to the point where she was suicidal and from the years i know her she was suicidal but not heavily, but this time it was different she texted the gc where she said ” if I died what would your guys reaction be” and I said hun call 988 and after a while she texted me privately and said that she really wants to end it. And for me I was like oh shit and I was texting her and telling her not to since she meant the friendship since she did change me but as we talked she got better and I was like ok we stopped her, and that dumbass told me that I was an idiot for thinking she was gonna khs and called me a scowled (it’s from avatar) and that shit got me pissed off so badly where I was like am gonna block her and cut her off but she knows too much of me and am in the border line of it. And my Tia told me 2 days ago that if your friends do a certain action you felt that was wrong or felt that you were played that means you have to cut them off and go on with your life. And when she told me that I was like, am gonna cut her off when we start school since she was joking about death a little too far and said I was an idiot for caring about her suicide. Like she literally showed me her wrist, and arms with cuts and said nothing about me caring about her health. But now she calls me an idiot for trying to save her from khs. So should I cut her off and block her or wait to see if she “changes” and continue to be with her????
honestly sounds like she meant it but regretted mentioning it and tried to make it seem like you were crazy for thinking it so she wouldn't feel as guilty or overwhelmed by your reaction. I'd stay with her, trauma can make you do things that you'll regret later and it sounds like what she needs now is that stability and support from someone. 2 reply
