Just wanted to spread some awareness because I haven’t seen anyone talk about this

Nobody's talking about this enough so let me say it plainly. Russia is systematically taking Ukrainian children and erasing who they are.

Since 2022, close to 20,000 Ukrainian kids have been forcibly deported or transferred out of their own country. Of those, only about 1,300 have made it back home. That's not a typo, the vast majority are still gone.

And it's not chaos, it's policy. Putin personally signed laws fast tracking their adoption and Russian citizenship. Russia has literally run an online catalog listing these kids for adoption, describing them with traits like "obedient," like they're products, not children with names and families waiting for them.

Kids who aren't adopted out get sent to camps designed to re educate them, strip their Ukrainian identity, and in some cases militarize them.

This is why the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Putin, not for some abstract war crime, but specifically for this. The UN has called it a crime against humanity.

This isn't a conspiracy theory. It's documented by the UN, the EU, the ICC, and Ukraine's own tracking effort, Bring Kids Back UA. So why is it barely in the news? I only just learned about this myself, which is kind of the point, this should not be a secret
