Want to read list

When do you decide to pick up stories from your “want to read” list? Do you usually start them while they’re still ongoing, or wait until they’re completed?

Personally, I like reading ongoing stories because I love getting notifications when a new chapter is updated. But I also have so many stories on my list that I’m already reading, and it stresses me out to add another one.
