Eh not a lot. Romantic feelings usually come w attraction which is very much different than how I feel w my friends. Obviously sometimes I'm like "wow my friends are gorgeous" BUT I do not want to rip their clothes off like how I do when I'm attracted to somebody.   reply

I feel like romantic and platonic love are fundamentally different, even if you take the sexual aspect out of the equation. I wouldn't experience a racing heart or warm flashes with someone I only view platonically, nor could I imagine kissing them on the lips or cuddling. But that's just based on my own experience.   reply

Have you ever considered you are asexual (or a branch/sub-genre of it) but are not aromantic. People usually misunderstood that asexuality is completely abstained from sexual desires, so they easier exclude themselves as one, but all human have sexual urges, just to what degree and how it is portrayed. Embarrassingly enough, yes. And way too often at that, too. It's easy to wonder if something your seeing as platonic can be something deeper beacuse your comfortable with them and you love them for who they are as a person, but that's only ur mindset when u don't currently have someone you like/or are romantically interested in, cause when u do like someone romantically trust me you can tell the difference ......   reply
