You know what they say - even a broken clock is right twice a day. Whether I accept the criticism depends heavily on what is being criticized and how much I dislike the hypocrite. Yeah, I’d accept valid criticism even from a hypocrite, the point doesn’t need a perfect messenger to be true. And honestly, isn’t that all of us? Criticism is in the eye of the beholder. Meaning most people are not good at being honest with themselves, specially about themselves. So we tend to take criticism, even constructive criticism, as a personal attack. As negative.
